TheSlowMusicMovement Haunting, enthralling intercultural adventures. Instrumentation rooted in the cradle of civilisation is plugged into the 21st century, the ancient poetry delivered with such grace it transcends any incomprehension & the light touch, avant-ritualistic percussion heightens the ambient aesthetic, questioning any rational notions of what was, is & ever shall be. Utterly mesmerizing.

A Well deserved TSMM blog Tip of the Day.

Hangman 05:29 video
Poet: Hushang Ebtehaj Listen to me, Hangman! Our anger roars into the horns Our rage pounds upon the drums Rebellion lifts its head everywhere, And within the bloody bed of people's fury, A tempest is born.

Poet: Hushang Ebtehaj My bed is an empty shell of solitude, And you, like a pearl, adorn the necks of others.

Poet: Hushang Ebtehaj His image dwelled beautifully in my heart, Shattering our heartless mirror apart. The mirror broke into a hundred pieces at the feet of the beloved, Yet in each fragment, his face is reflected, untouched. In love, the mirror plays a sincere game, It holds not just one heart, but a hundred hearts aflame.

Poet: Gelareh Pour, for Kian Pirfalak, inspired by Ferdowsi Followed by poetry by Forough Farrokhzad In the name of the God of Rainbows, The merciful and compassionate god, The God of water and the God of life, The God of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, The God of Pirouz, the soul-wrenching hope. Where are you, the God of Rainbows? The God of Kian’s saplings, The God of toxic gases, The God of women, wounded Iran, Where are you, the God of Rainbows? The sun lay lifeless, and tomorrow, Within children's minds, A lost, silent essence sorrowed. They would ponder the enigma of this age-old word, In their homework, With a somber ink stain, Visualizing the image, blurred.

Poet: Seyed Ali Salehi They said: It was Tuesday evening, the seventh day of winter, You brought a wet sparrow in your sleeve to your home! I said: I do not deny it. They said: The next morning, something resembling a lovestruck bird, Also rose from the rooftop of your house towards the sea! I said: I do not deny it. They said: You, in a small gathering of a vague song, Have woven a handful of words from the palm of the sky! I said: I do not deny it. They said: You, bastard, you! Are the catalyst of the mirror’s trust, with the melody of the night porch. I said, I do not deny it.

FIL O FENJOON has been in production since 2021. It represents a snapshot of work spanning a decade. It is not a conclusion. It is not a doctrine. It does not seek to define, distort, or determine in any way. Rather, it is a reflection - a shared communication where the listener's influence is as valued as that of the storyteller.

It is a gift, conveying raw emotion, presenting ZÖJ to you as intended, and indeed, it is for you.
